A tender, delicate melody from the piano introduces the slow movement from Beethoven’s Quintet for Piano and Winds. From here our wind musicians take turns in the spotlight, with long, lyrical melodies passed between the oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn throughout. It’s absolutely gorgeous music by Beethoven, performed beautifully by our musicians and guest pianist Benjamin Kopp.
