Brielle Clapson
First Violin
Biography
At the conclusion of her Bachelor of Music Honours degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Brielle moved to Germany to continue postgraduate studies at the Hamburg Conservatorium of Music.
While in Hamburg, she was awarded a year-long student internship as a tutti First Violinist with the Hamburg Symphoniker, providing the opportunity to continue her musical studies while performing regularly with the orchestra.
Following her internship Brielle joined the Academy of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Munich, under chief conductor Mariss Jansons. Brielle performed as an Academy member with this orchestra for two years after which she joined the first violin section of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra (now known as the Konzerthausorchester).
In 2008, Brielle returned to Australia in order to become a member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s first violin section.
Brielle has also been a guest musician with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Australian World Orchestra.
